CARE GUIDE
【 Precautions for Use 】
・Jewelry is delicately crafted.
Strong impacts or pressure can cause damage, so please remove jewelry during exercise or sleep.
・Moisture, sweat, cosmetics, and perfumes can cause discoloration and deterioration.
After use, gently wipe with a soft cloth and store in a dry environment.
・In high-temperature or extremely cold environments such as saunas or ski resorts, there is a risk of burns or frostbite.
Please refrain from wearing jewelry.
・Depending on your constitution, itching or rashes may occur.
If you experience any skin abnormalities, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist.
【 Care Instructions 】
After use, gently wipe off moisture and dirt with a soft cloth.
Jewelry tends to discolor when reacting with components in the air.
When not in use, store in a place with low humidity and away from direct sunlight.
Storing jewelry in a jewelry case or airtight container will help maintain its beauty for longer.
【 About Matte Finish 】
Matte finish (frosted finish) is a delicate process that gently suppresses light.
When exposed to abrasive cloths or strong friction, the surface may gradually become smoother and the texture may change.
If you are concerned about dirt, gently wipe the surface with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
Also, since it can be easily scratched when in contact with other jewelry, we recommend storing it separately.
【 Precautions for Each Metal 】
■ SV925
Silver can react with sulfur in the air, sweat, and sebum, leading to dullness or discoloration.
If discoloration is a concern, gently polish with an abrasive silver cloth, then wipe with a soft cloth.
If natural stones are used, avoid those areas.
※The above care applies only to silver material.
Do not use on gold-plated or oxidized products.
Additionally, the unique dullness and color changes of silver can be enjoyed as a characteristic that develops over time.
■ Coated Products
Surface coatings gradually thin due to friction and impact.
Avoid strong rubbing and abrasive cloths.
After use, gently wipe with a soft cloth and store in a bag or case separately to prolong its life.
■ K10 / K18 / Platinum
These materials are resistant to discoloration from sebum and sweat, but may tarnish due to oxidation if left unattended for long periods.
Store separately as they can easily scratch when in contact with other jewelry.
【 Precautions for Each Natural Material 】
■ Ruby・Sapphire・Diamond
They have high hardness and are suitable for daily use, but can chip with strong impacts.
Please be careful of dropping or hitting them.
■ Quartz family (Amethyst, Citrine, Rock Crystal, etc.)
They may fade if exposed to ultraviolet light for long periods.
Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
■ Opal
As a hydrous mineral, it is susceptible to dryness and sudden temperature changes, which can cause cracking and discoloration.
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight or environments where air conditioning blows directly on it.
It is also vulnerable to water, detergents, and chemicals, so after use, wipe gently with a soft cloth and store.
■ Pearl
Being an organic material, it is delicate and vulnerable to acids, alkalis, sweat, and cosmetics.
After use, gently wipe with a soft cloth.
Store separately as it can easily scratch when in contact with other jewelry.
■ Amber
As it is a light and soft material, please be careful of scratches and abrasion.
It is vulnerable to chemicals such as alcohol, perfume, and hair products, so please put it on before applying them.
Amber is a soft and delicate material, so avoid contact with high temperatures and solvents (such as alcohol).
■ Fossil
This is a delicate material, with each piece having different properties.
It is also vulnerable to water, detergents, and chemicals, so after use, wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth and store.
Fossils can be damaged by impact or sudden temperature changes. Please handle with care.
Please also enjoy the changes in texture over time as an expression of the individual's history.
【 Handling Items with Adhesive 】
For items using adhesive, contact with moisture or detergent may weaken the adhesive.
This can cause stones to fall out, so please remove them when washing hands, bathing, or doing water-related tasks.
【 About Ultrasonic Cleaners 】
Ultrasonic cleaners are convenient devices for removing dirt quickly, but
some materials may be damaged by vibrations or heat.
Please check the list below before use.
| Material | Usability | Reason/Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ruby・Sapphire・Diamond | ◯ Usable | Generally no problem as they are all very hard and stable minerals. However, natural stones with many inclusions rarely carry a risk of crack propagation. |
| Quartz family (Amethyst, Citrine, Rock Crystal, etc.) | △ Conditional | The mineral itself is relatively stable, but there is a possibility of rupture if it contains liquid inclusions. Limited to short-term, low-power use. |
| Opal | × Not usable | As a hydrous mineral, vibrations and temperature changes can cause cracking and opacification due to dehydration. |
| Pearl | × Not usable | Due to its organic layered structure, there is a risk of delamination, cracking, or loss of luster from vibration. Also vulnerable to moisture and heat. |
| Amber | × Not usable | It is an organic material of resin origin and is very soft, prone to cracking, clouding, or whitening from vibration and heat. |
| Fossil | × Not usable | Replaced minerals and host rocks are brittle, and there is a high possibility that adhesive parts or crystal layers will delaminate or chip due to vibration. |
